Biographie
Mickael Winter, French Composer and Music Producer based in Paris France
Mickael Winter was born in France, self-educated musician influenced by pop melodies and electric guitar sounds in his earliers' taste for music. He founded his first duet band at the age of 16 playing with samples keys and scratching vinyles when the first Hip Hop wave swept Europe. At the age of 18 he found a deal with a producer that took him to London to record his first songs as a singer and songwriter. Then the Funk seized him, and took him to found another band of funky and acid jazz musicians, then moved to New York to record some of his creations. At Ease in communication, driven by meeting new people through his travels and already reinforced with a rich musical culture he's been given the opportunity to become the resident Dee-Jay of the famous Barfly in Paris in 1994.
There, he achieved his knowledge with pop and electronic music culture meanwhile he wrote the lyrics of his first N°1 Hit in 1995 (almost 1 000 000 copies sold - "Dieu m'a donné la foi" sang by Ophélie Winter) Then as an artist and songwriter he got his first record deal with M6 music label and Sony Music distribution in 1997 for 5 years.
He also produced and signed with Warner music France Some electronic music tracks surfing on the wave of the French Touch House music in the early 2000. Then turned to produce young artists to get them signed with Mercury label at Universal Music while he kept making songs and realizing projects in an auto production system. While being involved in the production process, creating commercials musics for brands, he went to Kathmandu Népal to record a Travel Music Album around Buddhism for Nat Geo Magazine and Sony Music Records. As he felt a growing passion for music to film, he started to reorientate his work on music for synchro.Since then, he provides music for many Tv Programs, Brand Commercials, Documentaries, Scored one Movie in the U.S that won the N.Y Chelsea Film Fest in 2015 Always looking for new challenges he is now managing a team of French music producers through his company Miss Wave Music to respond to any new wonderful projects.
